I had this mission-style desk around the house. It was my sewing table at one time.
When we moved, it somehow got taken apart and this is what it looked like. So I had Husband put it back together and decided to paint it.
It was about the time I discovered chalkboard paint and I thought this would be a good project.
It could take the place of the peninsula we had just ripped out and it would be a good place for the grandkids to sit and draw while I was in the kitchen.
It was a little big for the kitchen, however, so after a while, it moved to the Antique Mall and sold right away. I kinda miss it.
I think I need to find another table similar to this one and do it again!
