Furniture Project: Grey and White Shabby French Shelf

This is a really cute shelf.

It was cute when I got it at a yard sale, just really dirty,
 and the back wasn't in very good shape.

But it had some nice details that could really stand out with some paint.

I started out with a nice grey.

Then I added white to all the little details.
To solve the problem of the back, I put wallpaper over it, then painted it a light aqua.
It's the kind of wallpaper that looks like small tiles and you can paint it.
You probably have to look pretty close to see it in these pictures.

But i think it turned out really sweet!
